Uniting for Ukraine

Team

Following Russia’s attack on Ukraine, displaced Ukrainians began arriving in the U.S.— creating an urgent need for clear, culturally sensitive public health outreach. As an art director on the Uniting for Ukraine campaign, I helped guide the creative process from a winning business pitch through the final development.

The campaign’s visual identity drew inspiration from Ukrainian folk art traditions, creating a cultural connection while alluding to the topic of Tuberculosis. To ensure accessibility and maximum impact, all campaign materials were produced in English, Ukrainian and Russian. Messaging was carefully tailored to address the needs of two key audiences: displaced Ukrainians navigating their new environment, and the host families supporting them.

The project balanced respect for cultural heritage with practical communication goals, helping raise awareness about tuberculosis screening and care during a critical moment.
