Pepco is the primary provider of energy in Washington DC and the surrounding area. If you are a DC/Maryland resident, then you have likely seen Pepco workers or trucks around your community working to power our daily lives. They run multiple campaigns throughout the year - encouraging people to use less energy in the summer months. And around the holidays, spur customers to give the gift of energy to their loved ones.
Because Pepco provides energy for such a large area and population, they have three sub-brands tailored to the various regions: Pepco, Atlantic City Electric and Delmarva Power. In 2019, Pepco asked my agency to help them update
their brand guidelines. Below are a few pages of their brand book that I updated and re-designed.
The Gift of Energy
Pepco gives people the opportunity to make a payment on the energy bill of a Pepco customer. To bolster this campaign throughout the holiday season, we created promotional posters and cards to send to gift recipients.
We were also asked to create buttons and stickers that can be used year round to spread awareness for the Gift of Energy. Below are the various pieces created for Pepco Gift of Energy.
