Centers for Disease Control & Prevention: Uniting for Ukraine

Following Russia’s attack on Ukraine, displaced Ukrainians arrived in the U.S. with an urgent need for clear, culturally sensitive public health guidance. As an art director on the Uniting for Ukraine campaign, I helped shape the creative from pitch to final rollout.

We built a visual identity inspired by Ukrainian folk art, creating cultural resonance while nodding to the campaign’s focus on tuberculosis. All materials were produced in English, Ukrainian, and Russian, with messaging tailored for both newly arrived Ukrainians and the host families supporting them.

The campaign combined cultural respect with practical clarity, helping raise awareness around TB screening and care during a critical moment.

Centers for Disease Control & Prevention: Hear Her

The U.S. faces a maternal health crisis, with most pregnancy-related deaths being preventable. The CDC’s Hear Her campaign urges healthcare providers, families, and communities to take women’s concerns seriously—because listening can save lives.

For this new business pitch, I helped develop materials that amplified this message with clarity and care, aiming to both educate and empower women to trust their instincts.
