Drawing and Painting
My time at the Royal College of Art allowed me to step outside of purely client-led work and return to making as a way of thinking. Through the MFA in Communications, I explored how ideas take shape through materials, process, and visual language—often letting form lead meaning rather than the other way around.
Working across disciplines and experimenting with new techniques, I developed a practice rooted in curiosity, iteration, and critical thinking. RCA encouraged me to question how communication operates culturally—who it serves, how it circulates, and what values it reinforces—while remaining grounded in craft, clarity, and visual impact.
The program sharpened my ability to balance concept and execution, combining research-led thinking with hands-on making. This approach continues to inform how I work as an art director and creative consultant today: thoughtful, material-aware, and responsive to the cultural contexts in which visual work lives.
